F2-F3 Classic Interseries 2024 prize-giving ceremony
On Friday 7 February 2025, the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA) stand at the Salon Rétromobile was the venue for the awards ceremony for the Formula 2 and Formula 3 Classic Interseries categories. This annual event celebrates the outstanding performances of the drivers and teams who have distinguished themselves over the past season in these historic disciplines.
The ceremony began with a speech by Laurent Vallery-Masson (Director of HVM Racing), who stressed the importance of preserving and promoting the heritage of motor sport. He also congratulated the winners for their commitment and passion, helping to bring the history of motor racing to life.
Among the drivers rewarded, Mark Charteris, Julian Stokes and Martin Wood distinguished themselves by winning the titles of Formula 2 Classic Champions, thanks to a season marked by several victories. In Formula 3 Classic Interseries, Xavier Michel was honoured for his exemplary consistency.
The officials were also honoured, and in particular Laurent Lambert (Race Director) who received the Coppa Ferruccio Leone from Gigi Taverna for his commitment to the discipline!
The prize-giving ceremony concluded with a convivial cocktail party, giving participants the opportunity to exchange views and share their common passion for historic motor sport.
